I reached out to Doug Sewell. He was so kind in the email and said to send it to them and they will take care of me! I'm shipping it out tomorrow . Looks like it's staying with me.

You are going to be a very happy camper when you get the amp back.

I love the way PRS does their business!

Doug is a great guy. I sent my two-channel back for a mod they'd done to later versions and said I didn't seem to be getting as much treble out of the dirty channel as I wanted. Doug tweaked something and added a note and said to yell if I wasn't happy.

had a similar noise issue on a Carr Slant 6v, only on clean channel (channels are completely individual on Slant), problem only present when volume turned up which implied first half valve circuit and tone stack. Not the valve, so theory/experince implied 100k anode resistor was most likely culprit but in the end it turned out to be the 250pf cap to the treble pot intermittently breaking down.
