I brought my 2 year guitar to the PTC for some Skitchification. New nut, Artist Tweaks and Rosewood Treatment of Extreme Awesomeness.

Plays and sounds like a dream!

Great looking guitar. I often wonder about the Rosewood Treatment of Extreme Awesomeness. I think many of us do.

That's a fantastic looking instrument. What does 2-year guitar mean? Employee guitar after working there 2 years, maybe? I thought you had to work there 5 or 10 before that happened.

It was different back in the days when Shawn was a 2 year employee, but I imagine there was a high turnover rate in employees with just over 2 years.

Edit: And by the way, that is one beautiful guitar!

PRS employees get a guitar after 2 years of employment and another after 7 years, 15 years, 20 years and now 25 years. We just pay for the materials.

I think I've made a major error buying a PRS. Or perhaps I should have simply stayed away from this forum (not likely LOL). Every time I enter these topics with guitar pics I keep thinking, "Hmmm... I want one of them too."

Seeing Shawn's here has made me realise that I really would like a natural mahogany finished back and a rosewood neck.

Hey Shawn, very nice guitar!!!

Didn't know my guitar was in such good company while receiving Skitchifikation (I like that word!) at the PTC. I hope nobody confused the cases ;-)

Counting the days until it's finally back (although you really worked at lightspeed).

Can't wait to gather some hands-on experience on the Rosewood Treatment of Extreme Awesomeness myself.
