Paul Smith personally brought this guitar with him to the clinic I hosted on Friday August 21st. The first words he spoke after saying "hi", were "YOU NEED TO CHECK THIS GUITAR OUT...THIS IS ONE OF THOSE MAGICAL GUITARS JUST LIKE YOUR ORIGINAL '79". WIth that said, he pulled it out of the case and thrust it into my hands, telling me to listen while I played it. So I sat down on an amp and strummed a G chord unplugged... Oh my.... it rang on and on... loud and clear, each note singing on it's own.
After about 20 minutes of playing the guitar acoustically, I plugged it in to an amp... simply amazing !!!
Words can not describe the glorious tones that this guitar oozes.
I have known Paul for over 36 years. I consider him one of my closest friends. I have never known him to tell a lie.
He did not lie about this guitar... it has that magical, special tone that we are all searching for. Not to mention, it looks stunning as well !
