I've played hundreds of guitars thorugh the years.

I've settled to 3 electrics at the moment:
a PRS ce24 (avatar)
fender custom shpo 63 strat
fender mod shop tele deluxe

I don't know why, but the PRS is the only one that is constantly slipping out of tune.
I'm always adjusting and readjusting the tuning.

My other guitars don't ever slip.

Is this just a me thing or do others have issues iwth their tuning stability on the ce line?

Do you use the tremolo? Sometimes breaking that in is necessary.

I would say try different re string methods. Some pull it tight and lock it up. That’s what i do as that’s what i feel locking tuners were designed for. PRS actually made videos and they recommend some slack and then tune up to pitch

Only 2 of my guitars are trem. Both Strats. They are harder to break in than my fixed tails. I never use the terms, but I like the sound of Strats.
Stretch the **** out of your strings and they will stay in tune.

They’ve been stretched for two months.
I rarely use the trem.

Do the strings go up or down in pitch when they go out of tune?

I have done a lot of work on PRS trems. I have a few of them and you can dive bomb the trem and come back up in tune on them. I have one guitar that is a little more finicky than the others. One thing I noticed with that one is that the trem has to float for it to come back in tune. I put a Tremol No in it and locked it so that it would do dive only. It kept coming back out of tune. Once I unlocked it, it worked like it should.

Hmmmm...if I put it away for a week I usually have to tune it lower.
It is setup as it was out of hte factory...it was made in March 2022. Love the thing.

I think it might be floating as I can go up and down with the trem bar.

Yep, then it's floating.

Do you store the guitar in a cold room? If yes, then the string pitch goes up.

Do the strings go out of tune on bendings? If yes, is it all strings or just one or two? And do they come out sharp or flat?

Most of the time it is the nut that is binding the strings. This happens in particular when you go up in string gauge from the factory set up. Careful filing of the nut usually cures it.

Good luck.

Is it cold, humid or dry where you store it? If it is in the case and goes sharp, that sounds like it may be more of the neck or wood moving a litte.

I have had some of mine be sharp or flat when I take them out of the case at outdoor gigs and then I adjust the tuning for it to be the opposite in about 15 minutes. I then have to tune it the other way. I found that if I just take them out of the case a little ahead of time and put them on a stand and let them acclimate to the temperature and humidity, the tuning is usually spot on and solid for playing. It usually doesn't take more than around 15 minutes for them to acclimate.
