PRS Tremonti Tremolo bar

Hello Everyone!
I purchased a core model Tremonti a few months ago; beautiful guitar, plays and sounds great!
Not being much of a tremolo player I hadn't even tried the bar, but when I did, It doesn't seem to fit.
It looks like a push type, but there is a black bushing (for lack of better word) in the hole that won't allow it to slide in.
I didn't want to muscle it and damage something, so here I am...
Anyone run into this issue?

There is a small black allen set screw by the intonation screws for adjusting the arm tension, should just need to be loosened a bit.
