Hello,
First post here, Long time PRS fan. Bought my Custom 24 in 2004 (she's a 2000) and recently bought a PRS Starla SE brand new for 700$ CAD!
I have been playing the guitar for 6 months now and the switch and the potentiometer are scratchy. I tried to clean them without any luck so I am looking at replacing the electronic in my guitar. I do not really have any knowledge and could not find the information anywhere either on which pot am I supposed to use for that guitar. I know they are 500K and that the tone pot is push/pull but are they long shaft, short shaft, split....

So which pot and switch should I put in my guitar to have the same quality as my Core Custom 24.

Thank you

You said you tried to clean - did you use contact cleaner/DeOxit? Those are usually quite effective, and definetely easier and cheaper than replacing

Yes, I used DeOxit.
The switchblade also stop working (lose connection) sometimes in the bridge position.
I have a Core and I dont mind redoing the electronic so it is the same quality electronic.
