PRS Sonzera 20 switching stuck in channel 2 problem

Hi all

short long I have this PRS Sonzera 29 that's like new but channel switching not working either manually or via Footswitch its on channel 2 now .

before going into warranty thing . yes it is still under warranty but PRS refused to take it cause I bought it from someone else what a pledge PRS.
after some emails back and forth with CS they charged me 100$ an hour plus shipping to fix it on top of that they refused any other help like where to look .
or schematics .

I would think 10 times before buying a prs amp if I were you anyhow anyone any idea where is the switching problem ?

It sounds like you bought the amp second hand, and clearly on the PRS website, it states that amp warranty is for the original purchaser and cannot be transferred or assigned. That said, someone here would probably be able to assist with a wiring diagram. Failing that, you’re probably going to have to track down someone who works on tube amps near you.

I think you would be much better off finding a local tech, if possible, just on a cost basis.

I took it to guy in town who fixes mostly old radios and vintage electronics as I don't live in the city anyways the problem was that gray flat 6 parallel wires that connects the back board to main PCB there is two of them both broke . he did his best and fixed it and said to me this is the nastiest way to connect pcbs he said you move them and they snap . anyways thanks all problem fixed
