PRS Singlecut S2 594 with Quilt Top......Yes Please!!!

Seriously? How'd they do that? My Core SC594 Semi-hollow weights 7.5 lbs!

Hmmm....I don't need one of these....I don't need one of these....I don't need one of these....

EDIT: the charcoal weighs in at 8 lbs 7 oz, which is still pretty reasonable. But that Blue Matteo Burst is that nice lighter weight, and the EV burst a bit higher at 7 lb 15 oz. All quite light compared to many SCs! (My LP Deluxe is 10.2 lbs.)

The S2 bodies are a little thinner. Combined with the natural variation in wood weight, you can find some winners.

I'm sure it also helps that PRS buy the best stuff and dry it very well.
 
It’s so impressive when they get under 8 lbs.

I didn’t think s2 were thinner than core. I only thought they could be multiple pieces instead of single piece mahogany. Regardless the S2 594 guitars are stellar and worth their money.
