I noticed the jewel light on my amp started flickering. Sounds fine however. What would cause this? Bad wiring in the house or is the light going bad? And how would I go about fixing it? I want to spray it contact cleaner but the jewel part don't look like it unscrews...

Most likely a bad solder joint on one of the lamp light leads. That’s impossible to fix without pulling the amp chassis. Since working inside an amp carries a risk of high voltage shock, you should take it to a qualified PRS amp repair shop.

No high risk of voltage shock if you unplug it and wait a minute. I don’t recall any big caps so that should be safe. Yes, once my hand moved about a foot when I didn’t wait for a big capacitor in a laser power supply to fully discharge...

That’s assuming everything is wired correctly, and it doesn’t take a big cap to store voltage. Proceed at your own risk.
