Hello guys,

I'm a big fan of new Indonesian-made SE standard series...
I think SE standard custom 22 is better than S2 or Korean-made SE guitars.

Can we get an SE Tremonti Standard with:

24 frets,
wide fat neck
tremolo
Tobacco sunburst finish???

I would be blessed if we can see a guitar like this!

I bought an SE Custom 22 Standard few months ago and its wide fat neck and quality is not behind that of S2 guitars...

These SE Custom 22 Standard guitars not only just look good but they indeed have PRS quality at the lowest price point.

PRS Factory guys, please release Mark Tremonti SE Standard - Indonesia version with 24 frets, sunburst finish, wide fat neck, and tremolo!

I don't think you'll get an SE built to your specifications, that would kind of defeat the object of the SE line. You could ask your dealer if they can order something for you or order a private stock.

I'm just suggesting ideas...

Satana SE Standard Indonesian version is already out there with tremolo and wide fat neck... then why not SE Tremonti Standard Indonesia version?
But, I wish they offer 24 frets and sunburst finish on SE Tremonti Standard...

Do you know any store which I can order a customized SE guitar?
I don't have $$$ for a private stock... and private stock SE makes no sense to me.

No customization is offered for the SE line.

The only SEs that have 24 frets are the custom 24, standard 24, Floyd rose 24 and the 7 string 24... all with wide-thin necks.

You don't get to specify neck shape or number of frets or where they are made in the SE line. That's one of the reasons they are at the price point they are.

Large retailers can get special runs with minor changes like an unusual color, but as an individual, if it is not on the menu, you can't have it.

As I have mentioned, I'm suggesting features for the future Tremonti SE Standard that may come out....or not.

Yeah.. I have noticed that all 24 fret guitars in SE lines are wide thin profile guitars. It sucks because wide fat is their core line pattern regular neck. I used to play core line for years and I'm not interested in wide thin guitars.

Can I ask a large retailer to order a 24 fret SE guitar with wide fat neck profile /w tremolo??? is it possible given that they have ability to order some special SE guitars?

Actually, Wide Fat is more like 'Pattern' than 'Pattern Regular', which is slightly narrower top to bottom than Pattern or Wide Fat.

You can ask for whatever you want! I'd be shocked if you are successful, though! Remember, if the retailer is ordering an SE with a bit of a different flavor, they are doing it as a series rather than a 1-off for a customer

and private stock SE makes no sense to me.
Exactly my point.

As well as:

24 frets,
Wide fat neck
Tremolo
Tobacco sunburst finish

Would you want two tone and two volume pots as well including coil tapping or isn't that important?

Another problem is that Marks specs call for a wide/thin neck, as that is what he plays.
I guess it would not be a signature Tremonti if the neck was not the same that he plays.

The original Mark Tremonti SE /wo tremolo came with wide fat necks... but the newer tremolo SE Tremonti Custom comes with wide thin...

If you guys are interested in getting a PRS Tremonti Custom with wide fat neck, please join me.
Let's send several requests to a retailer who can order special SEs..

Whatever man..

I wonder why wide fat neck is impossible on all 24 fret SE guitars..
If you see history of all SE lines, wide fat neck is omitted in all 24 fret SE guitars.

That's so cruel because we're still paying much more than price of cheaper iBanez guitars or Epiphone which come with fatter necks and 24 frets.

Man, if you have connection with Paul or guys at factory, please ask them if they can release a Tremonti SE Standard with 24 frets and wide fat neck.

Please make this dream come true!

I can't pay $3000 for a core Tremonti just for a fatter neck.

Hey man,

See about getting a SE Mikael Akerfeldt. You'll have to get it used, but it's a singlecut, has 24 frets, a tremolo, and a wide fat neck (I think). This is about as close as you can get. I've heard good things about them, and I wish I could try it out myself.

Yeah, I've heard about it but now it's discontinued... I will try to find one.
It has all features I'm looking for.

But, please PRS guys, release a PRS SE Tremonti Standard!

It's ridiculous to not be able to find a 24 fret / tremolo / wide fat neck guitar in SE range which costs much more than usual Epiphone or iBanez.

Dude, the only way you can get a CORE Tremont is with 22 frets and a Pattern Thin.

That's because it's a signature guitar, and a Pattern Thin 22 fret neck is what the signature artist plays. That's how these endorsement deals roll.

You're NOT going to see a Tremonti with a W/F and 24 frets.

So it's not gonna happen for that reason alone.

Also, the more choices on neck shapes on a model, the more the model has to cost. You're already complaining about the cost compared to Epiphone and Ibanez, it isn't going to get lower.

That's another reason it's NOT GONNA HAPPEN!

Now look at the CORE Custom 24. Oh, available only with Pattern Regular and Pattern Thin, and not Pattern, huh? Surprise, surprise.

Maybe PRS has done their homework and discovered that people who go for the 24 fret guitars prefer the thinner necks, or they'll simply buy a Core Santana?

Yes... for some reasons, PRS guys completely removed wide fat neck in the entire 24 fret SE lines.

But, at least we can request this kind of guitar...

Not being able to play higher note than 22nd fret D is a big pain when other guitarists are playing on 24 fret guitar.
and having to play a wide thin neck guitar when I'm not into thin neck guitars (I started as an acoustic guitar player) is another pain.
PRS guys deliberately removed all 24 fret wide fat SE guitars... you have to pay at least 1,000 dollars to buy a PRS 24 fret pattern regular S2 guitar. You can buy five lower end iBanez guitars for that money.

Let's request a 24 fret wide fat SE Standard Custom 24 or Tremonti.
