I traded a SE Holcomb at GC towards a Freidman ASM-12 speaker (for my Kemper). They listed it at $899.99 (MSRP), and NEW. I think I got $300 (or maybe $350) towards that ASM-12

I’m seeing more and more used return items being sold as new. Just two days ago I bought three light switches from Lowe’s and two were missing their screws to mount to the box and one had 12-2 wire loops still hooked around the brass screws and ground from where they cut it off to remove. I find lumber which has been installed and still has nails in it that were cut off. I know it’s a different field but I think it’s a byproduct of limited supply bc manufacturing is behind and stores are doing whatever they can to keep inventory in stock. I’m sure it’s the same in the music biz along with more QC issues bc things are being pushed out the door as fast as they can bc there is a huge backlog. Personally, I’m taking a break from buying gear(and most other stuff) until things stabilize and return back to normal
