Hi Paul,

I would welcome your thoughts on the slashing of PRS SE guitar prices in Europe. This is good news for new purchases, but sadly not in my case.

Seven week ago I purchased a SE Alex Lifeson Thinline for xxxEuros form Thomann.Com

The same guitar now being sold for xxx Euros at Thomann.Com & even cheaper at xxxEuros (£xxx) at Andertons UK!.

What are your thoughts on devaluing of a cherished purchase within weeks of it's purchase?

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best wishes

Dalip

Are you new to the planet?

Here on Earth, the prices of goods and services constantly fluctuate.

Pricing adjustments, sales, and other changes over time happen all the time in the retail market, so while it is frustrating/annoying if you happen to be on the wrong side of the price drop, there is very little you can do about it. As long as the guitar price was worth it when you paid it, then don't sweat it - you can almost always find something cheaper, eventually, unless it turns into a collectors item...

Have you asked your dealer if he would refund the difference between the two prices? He might surprise you, though he has no obligation to do so.
