PRS SE Mira: does it neck dive?

Hi I'm looking at buying a new guitar and I'm seriously considering a PRS. Having owned an SG and couldn't get along with it, I have to ask: does the mira neck dive? I love how Les Paul balances playing standing up, is the mira somewhere between LP and SG? I also have a LTD Viper which doesn't neck dive towards the ground but rather just hang completely level if you let go, I don't really care for that either.

What I'm looking for:
Thin neck, good balance, humbuckers, stoptail.

Any input would be much appreciated, thanks a lot!

I think it depends on the individual guitar. You need to weigh them to know. I've had two Miras. Still have one of them. One weighed about 6 lbs and did have slight neck dive. The other weighs about 7 lbs and did not. The lighter the body the more likely it will dive. The SE is a 22 fretter and mine were cores which are 24's, so the neck is about a half inch longer which will only make the problem worse. So find a 7 lb SE and you should be fine.

I’ve had 2 guitars with neck dive. All it took to correct the problem was changing the tuner buttons to plastic on my SE Hollowbody (thanks, Eddie Kim) and wood on my EG3. I can guarantee you it won’t be anything close to the SG.

Every guitar is different. Always best to play the one you want to buy whenever possible. In theory, a Mira shouldn't dive like an SG. However, my SG doesn't dive at all, so who knows?

Not sure about the SE. I have a Core Mira, and it doesn’t neck dive at all.

I've had several Core Miras, no neck dive on any of them.

I agree with the Mira ambassadors here. My core doesn’t dive at all. But the SE’s may be different. That said, I’ve never heard anyone say that they did. So, I vote “no.” Honestly, I keep looking to find one of these I can play to see how they are because they sure have potential to be very cool and a lot of guitar for the money.

Thank you all so much for the input. I guess I can pull the trigger when the 2021 new vintage cherry SE mira arrive in my country.

Didn't notice there's an Electric Instruments section on this forum, posted in the wrong section, silly me.

Two other things I can't get along with:
toggle switch placed near tone knob (I can only get along with a blade switch in that position, however I'm fine if the toggle switch is placed near the horn)
Tremelo bar (I change tuning very often)
I'm sorry if I seem too picky but that's just how I feel over my years of playing.

That's why I've ruled out most of the SE Customs. The Mira seems like a nice fit. I'm not quite familiar with PRS models so feel free to enlighten me if there are other good choices. I love Mark Tremonti to death and I really hope PRS can come up with a stoptail SE Tremonti model someday.
