PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo

Anyone here actually adjusted the piezo with the screw? Is it hard to remove and replace that part that needs to come out to access the screw?
Would have been nice to have made this a little easier to get to, don't you think?

I have done it, and don't recall it being too difficult. It did tame the volume.

For everyone's info, here is a pic of an SE piezo board. I circled the area where the master trim pot is located.
The SE piezo does not have individual trims pots like those found on the core piezo system.

Is there any way or me to adjust it or is it a matter of returning my new guitar for another?

Yes you can adjust the trim pot. I had the guitar tech at my local PRS dealer to do it for me and because it was not set correctly from the factory it didn't cost anything.
