PRS SE Guitar - Tremolo Arm Cap

Hi All,

Is it possible to get PRS SE Custom 24's with the Tremolo arm Cap (shown below). The one's that the company ships have a very thin tremolo arm, which is a little hard to grab onto.

They don't make one for the se, or s2 models...I called and asked. However, you can do what I did, which is lightly glue on a Fender tip onto it. I wrapped a little tape around it, and glued it in place with a little elmers glue. It works fine, and looks fine. I had the same problem with my Santana se...thin trem arm syndrome!

I have no idea if they are made to fit SE or S2 arms or not, but they're pretty nice.

I took some shrink tubing to mine, then sanded the tubing down a tad so that the PRS trem tips I had purchased (I bought like a 5 pack) could start onto the trem arm. Then I just smacked it on until I had it started, then I held it over a tabletop tip down and jammed it home until it was completely seated. No glue or anything like that. But if I ever want to remove it, it'll have to be shaved off. Not that that's ever gonna happen. I did 3 guitars like that. Works perfectly.

Double sided tape is another good solution.

What you could do is buy one of John Mann's trem blocks that will accommodate a Core trem arm! Add some extra mojo.
