Hello, i'm new to this forum, i play mostly metal (carcass, lamb of god, opeth) and i'm wondering if you have any recommended upgardes that i can do on a PRS SE Custom 24 guitar, or if it would make a big difference.
I'm from Mexico and recently i was able to purchase a PRS SE Custom 24, it's the first PRS guitar i have ever played, i was aiming for a USA made PRS (PRS S2 Custom 24 to be exact), but it's difficult to try these guitars before buying them here in Mexico, PRS Is not a common brand, it's very easy to get to play ibanez or jackson guitars, which i hate, so i ended up buying an SE Custom 24 because i found it at a local store with 40% off (which for Mexican prices, ends up being about $620 dlls that i paid for the guitar).
To be honest, i'm not 100% happy with it because i originally wanted a USA made PRS, but at the time i was unable to get it, but the guitar is nice itself and i'm not a professional guitar player, i was thinking about getting these new metal pickups that PRS Is offering, as well as getting some tuners or something but i don't know if it's worth the purchase, any recommendations are welcome
i'm playing with a Marshal JVM 410c and a ibanez transtube always in front of the amp distortion.
