Hello, I just got the SE 24 Custom. I have a few potential issues. It feels like it has 10's or better on it. 1.When I tune it to pitch the action rises quite a bit. The tremolo bar plate was making a clicking noise. I slowly tightened all the screws holding it down, very slightly, with a little bit more near the high E string. That seems to have solved that issue. So first question: Is that a common noise. Second, the tremelo springs seemed to be back out quite a bit (loose) they measure from body to plate just under 5/8" of an inch. I also see the tremolo bridge is not flush or even. Easy fix, but wanted advice. Most importantly, there seems to be relief in the neck plainly visible with my straight edge on the frets. The truss rod nut does not even seemed to be snugged against the body...is this normal? It seems like its 1/4" away from the neck. I cannot post photos here apparently?

Hi, welcome to the forum :) are you experienced in set-ups and all that? If not, better take it to a tech to get it sorted out. If possible, try posting some pics here, it'll save you more time explaining in words and also help us understand the problem better.

The clicking noise, can you reconfirm if it's coming from the bridge plate or the nut? And finally, you'd probably want to adjust the bridge pivot screws without any string tension, or it'll wear down the knife edge pretty quickly. Cheers

It says I cannot post photos here? Makes this worthless.
