prs se custom 24 locking tuners

Quick question, are the buttons on the original PRS tuners compatible with the Grover 406c ones? I think the Grovers are gong to be a great upgrade, however I prefer the look of the bigger buttons.

I believe I read that the PRS buttons do not fit on the Grover 406C tuners.

I like the looks of the tuners on my Singlecut with the 406C's. They look very good and are easy to get used to, I'm sure, if you liked the PRS stock ones that were originally on there. The functionality greatly eclipses any visual difference.

I just put a set of full size Grover Roto-Grip Locking Rotomatics on my new Gibson Les Paul Junior. They are really nice and have larger buttons, but the set screw is located straight down from the top of the headstock, not at an angle like stock and 406's. Plus the knobs might touch when tuning, they might be too large, I'm not sure. They are definitely really nice locking tuners though - Grover Roto-Grip Rotomatics. Not cheap, but really nice 18:1 and very smooth.

I'm personally very satisfied with the 406C's on my SE. They come in gold too, 406G's.
