I've scoured these forums looking for the answer that some of you may know. Question is: what is the trem block material used in the SE's (pot metal or steel)?

Thanks!

Thanks - would you upgrade to a steel block to maintain more of the original tone - or would a brass block be "more better" :) ?

I've had great results with these all brass models of Ebay. Direct fit for the SE and most trem guitars. I use the chrome saddle versions on my strat and the gold saddled ones one mine and my son's SE's The chrome is about $60 shipped and the gold is about $70 shipped
