I know there is not such an animal, but curious if anyone has converted one to a slimmer neck. I have done this on a couple guitars with success. These were used guitars that I purchased at bargains and did a total refinish on. Can’t say I have ever seen a 245 at a bargain used, so don’t want to chance this and ruin a perfectly good guitar.

I own a SE Tremonti Custom and really appreciate the neck on it. I think I have read PRS offers this as custom work if you send the guitar to them, but this is out of my budget minded self I am sure. Has anyone here attempted this?

Didnt even know PRS would do custom work like that.

That said...I did this once....on a Squier. Came out pretty good, though I dont have it anymore.

Maybe I will contact PRS and see if this can be done. This neck is 1/16” thicker than the Tremonti at the first fret. Probably would not remove that much though. Thanks for the replies and I will update if I ever attempt this.
