Yesterday ago i buy this guitar PRS santana , what u think even u see the Picture ?

I'm not an expert on Santanas, but it looks legit to me.

No immediate alarm bells. The birds match the year, the tuners look right, the sticker on the case is "aftermarket" but if I had to guess based on these alone I'd say it's real. You can always check the SN with PRS as well if you're nervous.

It's real, but I'm not sure which one it is. The original has a triangle control plate with the Santana signature on it. This one has the PRS control plate without the Signature. I think that is called the Santana ll or Santana lll. It's still genuine, just models that they produced after the Santana 1. But I could have some details wrong. Nice guitar, enjoy it.

Looks like a Santana II to me. Santana III's didn't have the abalone lines in the body, or at least all of the ones I've seen haven't had them.

Its a newer Santana the controls are in the more forward position older Santanas have the controls in a more rearward position

It looks like a real 2011 Santana model. Main difference from a Custom 22 or 24 is obviously the body shape, shorter scale length and the fatter neck.
There is nothing worng with Santana models. The Custom is a different model and the Santana a different one... it all comes down to personal prefference.

So.. If u be myself.. Wich one u choice Prs santana 2011 or PRS custom ? Santana is cheap.. About 1.500$
if the custom in my country 2000$
the price santana less than normaly.

but is tremonty is very good sound...

maybe i no change the pickup, because is make loss the character of the Santana ...
better i Buy cu24 for heavy rock..

because santana is better for salsa
