PRS S2 Standard disable tone control

Hi all,

I just bought a new PRS S2 Standard. Amazing guitar, and I got a really good deal yesterday at Musik-Produktiv-Messe.

I would like to disable its tone control. I guess the green & white wires have to stay to keep the push/pull coil tapping feature of the pot. There are two black wires coming from the tone pot - do I have to pinch off the middle or the outer wire? Or both?

The basic way to disable the tone pot is to desolder the capacitor from the volume pot. That should preserve the split resistors. But honestly, if you keep the tone control on 10, it’s effectively defeated without bypassing it.
