PRS S2 Pots and Caps

Are the pots and caps in the S2 line the same as core US models? or are they SE parts?

I really enjoy the taper on my core model so I was wondering.

The volume pots are not the same as Core. I don't know what SE guitars are using these days, but the S2 volume pots are different from the older SE guitars.

The S2 push/pull pots seem to be of fine quality to me. Not sure if they're the same as Core, but most push/pull pots are very similar anyway. Don't think I've experienced any SE push/pulls.

The tone caps appear to be the same as Core. The white tube-shaped ones. You don't get the 180pf treble bleed cap on the S2, though.

I put Core volume pots (with the treble bleeds) in my S2 and it was a great performance upgrade for me.

I really like the taper in the pots on my S2 Custom 22. The volume knob is a joy to do volume swells with - really smooth. Same with the tone control, although the tone control might be a hair stiffer, but still very nice. The push/pull coil tap on the tone knob works great, as well.
