PRS S2 Mccarty 594 wiring

Hello all i am brand new to PRS. Never thought i could afford one ect. But i bought a new S2 594 (then ordered a used core 594 after falling for it lol)

My question is this i have a case full of pickups from my les pauls and ibanezes. How many wires do my pickups need to retain the coil tap? Most ones i have are vintage (braided outer ground and black lead to pot lug)

I also have a set of Sheptone heart breakers (amazing pickups btw) but are 3 wire (ground, lead and coil tap maybe?) But looking in my S2 its a 5 wire, 4 leads and a ground.

3 wires (min) if using a toggle switch
4 wires if using a blade switch

Just the factory 3 way and push pull tone pots
