Hey all...I've had this S2 Custom 24 for about a 8 months, and it was primarily a benchwarmer up until recently (I'd been preferring my Core Custom 24 Semi-Hollow and my SE Custom 24 Floyd). I called it up for a very small gig on the Lower East Side, and it sounded, looked, and played great. I did switch the bridge pickup to a DiMarzio Custom EJ, which I feel was a great way to brighten up what was a very muddy stock bridge pickup. Played through a Quilter Pro Block 200 with a Morley Mini-wah, Tech 21 RK5 dirt pedal, TC Electronic Flashback mini delay, and a TC Mini-Spark Delay as my pedalboard.

If you're on the fence about buying an S2...go for it...such a great playing axe, and if you don't love the pickups, it's not like you've spent Core $$ only to need to swap out the pups.
