I drank the PRS kool aid, and it was tasty!
I’m a notorious trem abuser, and every single guitar has needed trem breakin. I’m working through it now with a magnificent CE 24-08 black Limba I put a Mann trem on. Once the parts”settle” ever so slightly, they stay in tune. In this case, the springs are still a little too stiff. I don’t put a lubricant in the nut every time I change strings, at least not for the last 50 years. Once seems to be enough to prevent binding until the nut gets a litttle wear. I do have PRS USA nuts on all my guitars.
