So...

I have a few options and id like to know the best way to go about doing this.

I want to swap the 58/15 S stock pickups with a 57/08 neck (bass) and a 59/09 bridge (treble).

the 2 new prs pickups did not come with any info and the website is not helping or it is not exact enough for me to try this without seeking some help. The wires are not the same color and there are many different "views" on what wires are what on these prs threads. thus, I would like to continue being able to "split" the humbuckers if I go about this approach. (basically, swap the pups and have the same functionality with the guitar)

I have obviously opened the back of the guitar but I am hesitant about swapping anything since nothing is colored the same, or even has the same number of wires. or matches up to what I am reading here on the threads.

my other option is I have a set of greenies that I could put in instead and forget the push-pull coil-split altogether? I am mainly a blues player at home or with some friends. we play slow and muck about mostly but I will need some sound.

Red is your tap wire on both. Goes to the push/pull where the coil split wires from the S pickups went.
Bare is shield on both (always to ground).

Black and White are positive/negative. I don't know if the aftermarket versions are reverse polarity or not, so you can start with white as hot and black as ground for both pickups. If you're out of phase in the middle position, reverse that for one of the pickups.

But ain't nothing wrong with a Greenie setup...

Thanks so much. If I were to put the greenies in, o. The pick ups there is only the shield and I am Guessing the hot. (I believe it is black) Just guessing but those pups wouldn't be able to utilize the push/pull option? The greenies have a diagram so I can use that too, but I just want to clarify that I would be bypassing the push/pull? Thanks for the responses.

Correct! Those are old school single conductor pickups, so the black cloth wire to the volume pot lug and solder a bit of the braided portion to the back of the pot. Not many options for push/pull switch wiring with those.
