Hey y’all,
I’ve recently been upgrading my Vela…58/15LT bridge and Lollar Firebird neck..and was planning on coil splitting or tapping the neck. What I’m stumped about is, why does PRS have the coil split wires connected to the top terminal and the resistor connected to the middle one? Would it matter if I wired it reverse (normal way) ? Or is it adding something to the tone wired like PRS’s diagram?
I just like to know how things work and why…that’s how my brain works. This just has me puzzled.
