PRS Pots

I just bought a Custom 24 (charcoal quilt) - NGD post later! It has 57/08 pickups which I'm going to sell (don't flame me - I like Tremonti pickups!).

My question is: Are the pots the same on a 2013 custom 24 regardless of whether they have HFS/VB or 57/08's?

yes the pots are the same in repect to how they are setup with the current configuration. ie 5 way vol, tone for your cu24 or toggle, vol, coil tap tone for a tremonti. you can use a 5 way with the tremonti i believe. check the schematic link under the support page. Since i was the first to reply, do i get a discount on the 57/08 pickups___:shakehands:

I'm doing an A/B test on Saturday with the 57/08 and the Tremonti's, I expect to favor the Tremonti's for my style - though the 57/08's are sweet.

As for the original question - my main concern is if the pot output is the same between HFS/VB or 57/08 versions of the custom 24 - I believe they're 500k, right?

Correct !! And i wish i could, but i then would have to get a project prs to put them in. Plus, it never hurts to have them handy in case you decide to do a prs project yourself.
