That would be amazing. He's very talented and would love for him to be with PRS. Here's hoping!
 
I agree. A great musician like JM who's obsessive about his gear and always pushing his creative envelope would seem to be a perfect match with PRS, who I consider to be the most driven and progressive company (and founder) out there.

Hello! I, the great Lesteban, who once studied with Slobbovia, do not have my own signature PRS model.

And I have been a PRS player forever!

This newcomer John Mayer who never even studied for one minute with Slobbovia certainly does not deserve an endorsement deal, plus I have had my own TV show and infomercial!

There's already vids out there of him playing PRS. I have nothing against Jackson Guitars, I have one in fact but a Pink FR equipped Jackson just doesn't say JM ? I could see why he would have used it a a music awards show in Pink to stick it up Fender. Though I think Strats will always be in his guitar rotation. His playing and music is the reason why I have Strats and a Cabronita.

I heard he cheated on Taylor Swift with Katy Perry before dumping Fender for PRS... US Weekly magazine seems to think he's not really ready for a stable relationship yet.

I never really hunted down his stuff, until a jam-mate suggested listening to a couple tunes "live"...his trio stuff with Pino P on bass is great!!
 
Most salient possibility: not only a single-coil equipped PRS, but a 25.5 inch scale core model to boot. Perhaps a riff on the Brent Mason with a little more shaft? :)

If I were even remotely able to pull a stunt like that I wouldn't be looking for a Stable Relationship either.

Mind you I have one of them grown up thangs going and I ain't giving it up.

But just sayin'...

I met him at work when he was with Jessica. I didn't know who he was at the time, but I remember asking if the Martin was his guitar and then he told me who he was.

So, in retrospect, I shook the hand that use to rub Jess all night(I'm sure it was just back rubs).
