Wondering if anyone has ever created a list of all the PRS pickups over the years, including the general tonal/output characteristics of each, and how each pup was rerceived/perceived by PRS owners (best ever, least favorite, all-time classic, most popular among northeastern Norwegian black metalers, etc.)

For those of you who've been around for a long time in the PRS world, this would be a great resource to compile. (And if one already exists, please let me know where I can find it.)

What are #6 pickups specs.
I have some in Satin Singlecut fixed bridge all hog Core. Looking to see if a more vintage PAF type pickup will suit or possibly Mcarty pickups from the early 2000 era. I'd like covered pickups and a neck coil split.

Does it not. Magnet type could, but resistance does not give you any clou concerning the output. Inductivity is the proper indicator for discriminating into hot or tender pickups.

If you're not loving the pickups in your single cut try finding a set of Core Mira pickups they just pair really well with a warmer guitar and tap nicely. , I add covers to mine also
I have a set in my Single Cut Trem and went with a Freeway Switch :)

Thank you that's a good idea. I'm also tempted to turn it into 2 volumes and a 3 way toggle for preset tone. 1 setting just take a little of top from the bridge other setting darken the neck a little.
Individual Coil splits via push pull pots. It would make it more versatile for me.

You won’t need the coil splits with the freeway switch. Look it up.

Thank you that's a real interesting idea. Would save a toggle switch and possibly new pots.

I don't need no stinkin' list!

DRAGON 1's FOR THE WIN!!!
Came here to say the same thing. I lost track of PRS pickups once they started calling them numbers. D1s and (to a slightly lesser extent) old school McCarty pickups are all I ever needed.
