PRS Pickups - 58/15 three conductor for coil split AND Piezo?

I am looking to get a 58/15 that I can have wired for coil splitting, but it seems like the only ones available are 3-conductor. Is a 3-conductor able to be wired for coil splitting? Further, will it work with a Piezo system?

The magnetic and piezo systems are entirely separate. Your magnetic pickups have no influence on the piezo operation and vice versa.

PRS uses three conductors for splitting for reasons I do not understand. The "split" pair is bonded at the coil end of the pickup hookup wire, instead of at the switch end.

For anyone in the future looking, I got ahold of the PTC and they said that a 4-conductor version of the 58/15 would be needed for the 24-08 switch configuration. To that end, if anyone has a 4 conductor version of the 58/15 neck pickup that they would be willing to part with, hit me up please!
