I'm looking to change out pole piece screws in my 594. I want to use 'smoked nickel' (aka black nickel, cosmo black) pole pieces like I had in a limited edition 2018 594. I also would like to identify the allow used, in order to match the originals.
1) Does anyone know where to get black nickel pole piece screws? I've hit all the regular suspects with no success (StewMac, Philadelphia Luthier Supply, MojoTone, Tone-Kraft, Amplified Parts, John Mann's shop, WD Music, etc). I found on vendor in the UK, but they only sold metric.
2) Which alloy (1010, 1018, 1022) does PRS use alloy their for humbucker pole piece screws? The alloys vary is clarity, etc.
