Okay guys so I have a question for those members far more knowledgeable in the matters of PRS Pickups. I've actually been meaning to post this question for months but just kept forgetting.
Does anybody know what year PRS switched from using the smaller square gold outline to the larger more rounded gold outline? The reason I ask is I noticed that the McCarty pickups that I have in my Bernie have one of each label.
The pickups in my 2001 McCarty both feature the rounder label as do both sets of 2001 Dragon II's I've got (one set in my Purple Standard 22 and a set that are in my 2013 SE Santana / Custom 22 hybrid) the santana one I bought of a friend when he took them out of his Custom 22.
The other thing is when did the cases become less curved? Both the McCarty sets & the Dragon II's seem to have rounder edge than the 58/15 in my other carty McCarty.
