Hello everyone,
This is my first post here and i'm looking for some help with my setup to achieve the best tones from my guitar.
I'm a very late starter with the guitar and have been playing for just over a year. I'm lucky if i can play a few hours a week so im still very much a beginner. Anyway i play a 2012 limited edition P24 and i'm at a bit of a loss with the Piezo side of things. I run my guitar into a Fishman Aura Spectrum DI and then to my Tanglewood T6 acoustic amp. I've installed a few patches that i like the sound of but there's so many settings on the DI and the amp that i'm completely confused how to set it up to get the best tones.
I've got volume, low, mid, high, compressor and blend settings on the Aura and then gain, bass, middle and trebble on the amp + some effects settings. I more or less run everything at 12 o'clock but in all honesty i don't know what i'm doing to try and improve the acoustic tones.
I'm hoping someone here can give me a few hints and tips to get things set up a bit better.
