PRS OHSC question

This is probably an oddball, PRS-fanatic question but... Every PRS original hard shell case I have ever seen has the guitar slightly angled with the headstock pointing towards the hinged edge of the case.

This is a bit of an oddball OHSC from around 1993 with the neck parallel to the edge of the case - has anyone ever seen one of these? Not clear from the picture, but it is definitely molded for a PRS shape only...

My 94 Cu22’s case has the same orientation.

That looks exactly like the case that came with my 1991 Special.
