So, where have they gone? The ones with the Signature? I bought a brown one last year for my Akerfeldt, and just got an urge to pick one up in black. But no-one has them any more. The only nylon-type PRS straps I can find are the new Levy's one at the PRS Store (bird shapes all over), or the PRS "boring SE-style font" ones.

Does PRS order a single manufacturing run of things like this, and when they are gone, they're gone, never to be re-ordered?

Very weird.

Brad737 - thanks for the offer to allow me to make an offer, but I'll get by! Just curious about why they no longer exist, not just at the PRS store, but anywhere. They used to be available via Amazon and other music retailers.

Guess I'll have to settle for one of them leather straps instead...

;)

Are you talking about the one like in my picture, third from the right?
I really like that strap since it has a buckle on it.
I think I got it with one of my Thanks You packages a few years back.
The other PRS strap next to it may have come with another Thank You package for an SE I bought.
I have gotten away from the straps which require you to thread one end through a slit, too hard with Schaller Strap Locks since you have to unbolt it from the strap to do any future adjustments.

CoreyT, yep, that's the one. I have that same strap in brown. I prefer the buckle straps too, although I do like the comfort that comes with a wider leather strap.

I have a spare suede strap I use when I've bought a guitar but not the strap yet (all my guitars always have a strap on or with them so they are ready-to-go, plus I can go all matchy-matchy with colors...). I'm not fond of suede and the way it grabs my shirt - I do like a little slipperiness in my strap, so the nylon / seatbelt style are what I mostly have.

However, the (older style, non-Levy's) PRS leather straps are pretty good - I bought one for my SE Angelus Custom and it feels good on a heavier electric like a CU24.

The padded strap at the far left of your picture looks just like the new PRS padded straps - how do you like that? I see you use strap locks, so no point asking you about how easy it is to get on/off the strap buttons.
