I have a '93 CE24 with the wide thin bolt-on maple neck. I've played it for a few years and always liked it.
However yesterday I happened into a music shop and tried out a few newer model CE PRS guitars and noticed how much more comfortable the thicker necks felt. When I got back I tried my CE and noticed how 'cramped' my hand felt compared to the other models. Of course this is subjective and a matter of preference. PRS offers quite a bit of choices for us all.
Has anyone ever experienced anything similar ? I had been very happy with my PRS, but now I'm questioning if I need to move over to a different model.
Also, please enlighten me as to all the different necks available in the PRS CE line.

Thanks...

Here's the current line up of necks on US models.

All I know of PRS necks is Wide / Fat. It suits me. My strats. One has a thin neck, it plays fine, one has a thicker neck, it plays fine. The rest, a mix of different ones, but over the years I've grown fond of the PRS neck and the fatter of the two Fenders, which is a MiM.
