Hi all PRS owners with Narrowfield pickups, just wondering if anyone would be willing to measure their Narrowfield rings?

I'm looking to see if a Seymour Duncan mini will fit in those rings and if those rings will fit between my neck and bridge full humbuckers rings.

I'll be routing in a middle pickup cavity on a SE custom 24 and I don't think another DiMarzio Super 2 will squeeze in between the two. Even with modifications to the full humbucker ring.

Thinking find a Mini 59 or JB neck that will closely match Super 2s and stick that in there.

If willing can I get:

Outside Max length
Outside Max width
Inside width
Inside length
and distance from screw hole to hole.

Don't need the outside 4 screw hold because I can drill the body wherever needed.

Thanks in advance if anyone is willing to help.

Thxs Ed

Using some digital calipers, sizes in mm:

outside max
width: ~85.53
length: ~29.63

Inside
width: ~66.75
length: ~22.58

screw-to-screw centers: ~74.96 / ~19.77

Not sure what you mean by length vs width, I figured length was the longer dimension? If not, reverse.

Also not sure why you need "max" for outside, the rings are rectangular, not ovoid squirkles like TCI or 408 pickups.

This is from a 2015 Special, if that makes any difference.

Black Plaid, thank you so much for the help. Once back to my guitars I'll get my digital caliper and measure it up.

The reason I needed the outside width is because I'll be using my plunge router to cut a middle pickup cavity into the deck of the guitar. I'll be using 3 mini toggles to do my coil splits.

I started thinking of just squeezing in another DiMarzio Super 2 with typical rings, but then the thought of finding a mini humbucker that gets close to the Super 2 in tone/output and use the PRS ivory rings.

I'm still researching it all and can default back to a super 2, but wanted to try this first. Can always make the hole in the guitar larger, but start with a mini first.

Thanks again for taking the time to help me with this. Have a great one, Ed
