How did you get your hands on it, or where did you get it from?

Do a reverb search for prs solar-foil!!! There is one in Germany, and it is cool as hell!!! If I had not just received (and was still paying for) my new PS CU24, I would probably buy it!

This is my 2012 Singlecut Hollowbody in a custom finish informally called Copper Multifoil according to PRS (I call it Warm Carmel Ripple). It is finished in the copper color then the black "crinkley" finish is applied over it. I have not seen this finish on any other PRS.

That is a very nicely subversive take on a traditional sunburst fish. Love it!!!

This is an 88 I would like to make mine someday as much for the tone as the look , yes there are spots where the finish flake off but it black underneath so it look fine.

I think they changed their technique in the later foils, the original run there is a clear evidence where the “dab” is with that almost armadillo shell looking pattern. The 2012 and 2016 versions don’t have this line.

A while back someone had a copper-foiled PS DGT for sale. It was a beautiful and unique instrument.
