Hey,
is the finish of the guitar the same under the pickguard?

Aside from the dirty big control cavity, yes although the cavity is painted with the dark grey shielding paint. Maybe you need to put this into context. Are you asking if the body is rear routed so you can remove the pickguard? If so, no, the pickguard needs to be there.
