Prs Keith Urban Tele?

I've recently added a T-type, and am enjoying it a great deal. Through a big Fender or the Two Rock, it's a bold-sounding addition to the S-types I spend most of my time on - those that we build ourselves, or the Silver Sky DS. A friend of mine also has a T-type from the same batch, and it has quite a distinctively Les Paul-type character on the neck p/up.

I'm going to try and separate him from it, or at the very least, find out which pickups he's used for the build.

I was on the fence with the MK model, only because I thought it was far more expensive than it should have been - pricing it around the silver sky (at least in uk, it was maybe 500 gbp more than a standard SS model). I'd need to play it to be sure at I'm not exactly close to a big seller where I am. I'd be curious what the more tele inspired tele will look like honestly. A do enjoy Keith's work a lot!

By way of contrast, I rather hope it doesn't.

I'm not saying "do the Silver Sky" thing, but I really don't like Fender Tele headstocks. Good grief, do I dislike them - I even prefer Tylers

The 😮 is because the Tyler headstock is an ugly @55ed thing.

A Tele just doesn’t do it for me at all. I tried, I owned two of them years ago, but they just don’t ring my bell.

The Tyler headstock is a FU to all the "Olde Worlde" nonsense that gets carved onto the paddle end of a lot of S- and T-types.

I know the Tyler's a beastly thing, but it's a refreshingly beastly thing.
