As promised folks, this is part 2.
This guitar is a special one. One of the early-ish Single cut 594s from early 2017. Gifted to me on my birthday by my wife (who also got it for me from the UK). The colour and the top is what really drew me in, as it reminded me of how the surface of Jupiter used to look in the encyclopaedias' I had as a child. Also the ebony fretboard, which I was a big fan of at the time (I still am, but I like other woods also now)
I don't name all my guitars, but as this is a special one, it is called, no surprise, 'Jupiter' or 'Zeus', depending on my mood (It could be the God of all guitars
).
In a sentence, this particular guitar is best defined as a 'High Definition, High Quality Les Paul', and for my money, the perfect modern interpretation of the 59' burst, down to the modern 'burst' colour.
This is my current no 1, which I've been gigging with since I got it, and it inspired my bandmate to get a 594 (double cut in grey black) as well.
You can see/hear a lot more of the guitar below (original photos from the GAK website)/and in the video
