I have been offered nice looking PRS in trade.
It should be 2008 Custom 24.
Not S2, not SE, not CE.
Core?
I don’t know much about PRS guitars other that they are nice and expensive.
Could someone help me with checking it out?
Is it a real PRS?
What is it worth used?

Without the serial to check, you wont be able to fully verify authenticity. While it does look the part of a core (rotary switch, recessed knobs, phase 2 tuners I think, pickup rings), the serial is the only way to really know for certain. Also, ask if the truss rod works. It's all for nothing if that has an issue, otherwise you might end up with a big paperweight. Kinda surprised by the damage to the neck binding, I never see that.

Legit. Great looking top and hybrid hardware. Bummer about the peeling on the neck. I have a DC-22 from 2009 that had that happen. PRS took care of it under warranty.

I'll second BOTH responses above...But I think the binding is warranted only if Original Owner...???
Looks like it may have taken a hit in the same area its peeling, or lighting messing with me...
But Gorgeous top!!!!

Definitely legit. Here's her sister... same color but a stoptail.
