Was in my Premier Guitar Magazine newsletter just now.
On Monday, October 7, 2013, Paul Reed Smith Guitars presented a custom electric guitar to be part of the permanent display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City....

It's an interesting feeling to have something you did put in a museum. Paul has to feel great about having his work in such an important one devoted to art in a great historical context.

A couple of years ago, I learned that a TV documentary about Detroit's old Tiger Stadium that I scored is shown daily at the Detroit Historical Museum. That's pretty satisfying, but it's nowhere near the accomplishment that Paul has achieved with the Met.

I'm really excited for him. I believe that he has had guitars exhibited at the Smithsonian as well.
 
Super cool - many of Paul's guitars are truly pieces of art, and should be appreciated as such...

Would love to see or hear McLaughlin's set!!
