PRS Forums is 10 years old this month ...............

Sorry to derail. Nothing against PRS ForumS (I am also a member there), but I was just wondering how old would the original PRS Forum be if it were still alive? 15-16? I remember I joined in 2000 but I think it started in 98 or 99??

:bawling:

Man, do I miss that place. The memories of the first Forum event alone…at the time, it was just like finding a "Golden Ticket".

It began in '99. I joined in the Fall of '99 and was asked to be a moderator some time later in Y2K...

Being local, I was lucky enough to attend all of the Forum Events (plus all of the Experiences).

I have a pic from the first event, with all 50, or so, of us lined up out in front of the factory. I'm in the middle, holding Paul's Yellow Dragon. I'll see if I can find it…

Here's a pic from the 2nd Forum Event…

Nope. That's the 1st. See that devilishly handsome bastid, first row, all the way on the right? Yup, that's me and my HG-70 that I had PRSh sign at the first event.

Still have it? We (meaning me) need a tone report!

Yup. Still have it.

Typical SS crystal clear cleans. For the 2% of the time I need it, it does it's job. I'm not really the guy to ask about cleans. :proud:

The "lead" side works VERY well for heavier music. Very tight and punchy with decent sustain. With a EQ pedal in the loop, oh mama, does this amp wake up! Gets it into the high-gain zone without any OD or distortion pedals. You get some nice note separation in chords, too. It's a really fun amp to play and I still bring it to rehearsal every now and then. It holds it own with a very loud drummer and band.
