PRS Experts, I need your help.

I am possibly buying this from a friend, if not then he is going to sell it. I have not the slightest idea what this is. I like it a lot, It plays really well. The neck is very close to my S2 custom 24. So, pattern regular?

Is it a Studio model? McCarty? What should I offer him?

Five way rotary knob
The back is natural Mahog.
Came with a case
Not a bolt on CE
Bought in the last ten years or so.
Almost mint condition.

Niiice. I love a gold top. Yep Custom 22. Would be early 00's, assuming the ebony tuner buttons are original. First number of the serial will confirm.

Neck will either be wide fat or wide thin. Pickups most likely are Dragon II.

Its either a CU22 (if it has a maple top - look for the natural binding) or a Std 22 (no binding).
Id guess late 90s early 2000s. First digit of serial # is year.
Wide Fat or Wide Thin neck, Pattern Reg didnt come out until ~2010.

Very nice, and bonus points for the rotary and Dragon's, I bet it sings. - points for the old wing tuners though. I wouldn't think more then 12-1400 honestly. Must have OHSC and that birdie hangtag too, otherwise it murders the resale value if you ever chose along the line to sell or trade

It's a kickass guitar, for sure. But I'd estimate a non-10 Top with Moons to be worth $1000 to $1200. Good luck!
