anyone been? What is it like? Is there one coming up? Would you recommend going?

Recommend? Abso-fricken-lutely. It's a great time - you get to meet the people who build these wonderful instruments. You get to see the factory. You get to hear from the man himself and experience the energy and passion he has for his craft (but if he asks if you have a credit card, run!).

You'll get to hear great artists playing great music and listen to them explain why they play PRS. And a lot of them will tell great stories (Bernie Marsden meeting Peter Green - priceless!). And almost all of them are available and willing to answer just about any question you have.

Not to mention that you'll get to meet a bunch of the coolest people, many of whom are in this here group itself. I mean this sincerely - you won't find a better group of humans.

On the downside, I'll be there, too.

It is usually held in September...20-25-ish...
If they do it this year, don't miss it!!! I am hopeful, yet doubtful...They did it 7 years in a row,
(actually skipped one year, I think??) and he (They!!) really do it up right.
It's a 3 day party mingling with a ton of people that love the same thing, so its an awesome time.
PS: this is one of the big times it pays to be in "Signature Club", as they had an extra night for those folks, with Concerts, Clinics, etc...

Bill is correct - traditionally they've been held in September. Last year it was in June, though. No word yet on it or when this year.

And it's an excellent reason to be a Signature Cleb member.

Alan, technically last year's event was the 30th Anniversary Celebration, not a true PRS Experience. I really hope they have the experience this year. And don't sell yourself short, you're one of the folks I look forward to seeing when I'm there.

True, it was officially an anniversary celebration, but it seemed like everyone referred to it as Experience anyway. Even a few of the employees did, especially when we talked about how much more relaxed it felt.

And usually, most people looking for me at Experience do so in order to avoid me!
