Dig! Love that Little Sister
She always tries harder.Dig! Love that Little Sister
That is what I heard.Rumor says its going to be sold to the Chinese group. It's investors run company. Same **** as Gibson where the biz model is just to recycle past history.
That amp blow me away every time I plug in to it.Dig! Love that Little Sister
Yeah, Gibson is as good as they've ever been. They've raised the prices but they are working hard to deliver cool guitars. That is what I heard.
As for Gibson, all my Gibsons are 2023 or 2024, they are the best of any I have ever owned, so maybe there is hope for Marshall.
If you like Marshall, there are so many Boutique amps that do the Marshall sound, but even better, so it will never be an issue getting the tone we love.I love Marshall, but it is a tough business. So many amp manufacturers and only so much business to go around. I do a lot of studio work, so I want my amps to be particular and niche. For instance, the jcm 900 has a very particular thing I do with it in 90s style alt rock tracks.
Prices definitely have went up, a Standard 50s was $2299 a few years ago and now they are $2799, that is significant.Yeah, Gibson is as good as they've ever been. They've raised the prices but they are working hard to deliver cool guitars.
Oh for sure. I remember in college oggling the brand new SG that was $800, and out of my price range. Now that particular model goes for like $2200 used. It's general inflation as well as corporate greed. I'm sure the inputs on a guitar have risen dramatically as well.If you like Marshall, there are so many Boutique amps that do the Marshall sound, but even better, so it will never be an issue getting the tone we love.

I blame Covid...Oh for sure. I remember in college oggling the brand new SG that was $800, and out of my price range. Now that particular model goes for like $2200 used. It's general inflation as well as corporate greed. I'm sure the inputs on a guitar have risen dramatically as well.
You definitely can use it for many different styles of music.Back to the title of the thread.
Of all the PRS guitars I’ve owned, including a stunning 513 Brazilian, none could match the versatility of my Custom.
Whale Blue with Moons, 10-top, 2nd generation T&Bs, sweet switch. 1988 Serial number on the headstock, ‘87 in the pickup cavity.
Mine is fairly heavy at 8lbs 2oz and is not a 10 top, not a great looking guitar, but it does its job.I love the versatility of the Custom 24, plus the whammy bar allows you to stay in tune. ITs a lighter guitar, great access to the higher frets and many of the colors look amazing.
I blame capitalism and free market. However with the current trade developments, prices might go downI blame Covid...
Companies said they needed to temporarily raise prices due to shipping, etc...
Once everybody saw you were willing to pay more for things, why would they lower the prices back to where they were?
Speaking of prices rising.... yikes on a good PRS these days. 5 grand? yowza
Prices on everything is way up and it is all due to Covid.I blame capitalism and free market. However with the current trade developments, prices might go down
Oh wait.
But isnt that free market at its finest: supply and demand combined with maximalsation of profits?Prices on everything is way up and it is all due to Covid.
Companies were saying they were just raising prices due to increased cost of shipping and other factors, but they would lower the prices once everything came back to normal.
Let's be serious, once companies saw you were willing to pay more or something, why would they lower the prices?
If we are willing to pay the prices then that is the market value. But isnt that free market at its finest: supply and demand combined with maximalsation of profits?
I dont blame them. Regret it from the perspective of my wallet, but blaming COVID is the same as blaming the moon for causing a flood because it affects the tides.
Great guitars as long as you are not planning on selling it.I paid $4,200 for my Custom 24 last year when they had a Black Friday sale. I just purchased the standard version as the 10 top were way out of my price range. Thankfully the top on my guitar is beautiful.
