Hi guys!

First post, go easy,

A 1992 PRS custom 24 10 top would have which pickup in the bridge position?

Just to save me some bench time taking it out to check.

I am thinking it could be the HFS but wouldn’t know how to identify one?

Any ideas are most welcome.

Many Thanks.

It should be a HFS and I'm pretty sure it would have a sticker indicating that on the back. As far as I remember that is just about the only pickup that would have been normally available.

Thanks for the reply Strat.

Hopefully our thinking is aligned on the HFS.

I guess if there is no way of identifying it from the casing there is only one way to know for sure......

No obvious way from the outside but I do think it was standard then. This is a 1990.

Unless it was a custom order, it will have the HFS and VB pickups.
If you want to be 110% sure without removing the strings and pickup, you could measure it's output with a multimeter if you are handy with that stuff...
